We're a few peeps who really enjoys BF2, but unfortunately the lack of teamwork is putting us down. We've therefore started this site, which is meant to be a portal for squads and commanders. We're not in any way limited to a country or region - on bf2-squads.com everyone is welcome! The idea is that we'll use this site to get together with other teamplay-oriented players, and form regular squads. The homepage will include modules where squads can register, and scripts to help squadmembers see where their friends are playing - and join the same servers. Each squad will have its own page with a logo, some information plus displays to show who's online from each squad, and where they are playing. There will also be a screen showing which squads are playing where, so that you can find a server where several BF2-squads.com squads are playing. We're also planning on introducing a Commander-section, for those who likes the Commander role. Imagine how cool it'd be to fill up a server with our teamplay-oriented squad, and a COOPERATIVE commander (god knows, there's a lot of stupid commanders and squad leaders/members out there!) Plus, of course, lots of more good stuff is coming :) Just think about it for a second.. You want a game of BF2, and you check our portal to find out that your squad, plus, say 4 other squads, and a commander from this site - are all playing on the same server. That's the best way we clan-less people can achieve proper teamwork on a public server. Anyway, as I said we're just getting started up, so for now the only useful resource here is the forums. Feel free to give ideas and inputs in the Suggestions forum. In the forums you can sign up your own squad, recruit other players to your squad - or join an existing squad. The squads have their own private forum area for discussion. In this area there is also a list of the squad members and the server they're currently on.
